Sucua Christian Center Expansion Project
In 2005, missionaries Joil and Leah Marbut planted the church, Sucua Christian Center (CCS). Since then, CCS has served as the mother church of dozens of indigenous churches throughout the Amazon region of Ecuador. Forming and sending disciples into areas that have never heard the Gospel.
In 2019, the church saw the need to expand its facilities. The current church is a beehive of weekly activity. Between worship and prayer services, as well as youth and children's ministries, it is also home to the seminary, where new pastors are being trained. The expansion is a more adequate sanctuary, which will allow for the church to continue to grow and train more pastors and leaders.
Initially, the estimated cost of the entire project was $240,000. The current phase of construction, which includes the completed steel structure and roof, is estimated at $80,000. CCS is a church of faithful believers who have sacrificed and labored to see their church completed. We have two requests. First, would you commit to pray with us as we endeavor to complete this task? And next, while you are praying, would you ask the Lord if you are supposed to be a part of this story through financial partnership?
Together we are impacting eternity.
